This celebration of food and drink, music and story telling is being held from 10th – 12th July 2020. The Huon Valley Mid-Winter Festival seeks to awaken the Huon Valley during winter through a celebration focused on the apple. The theme of this event is centred around WASSAILING. The purpose of wassailing is to awake the cider apple trees and to scare away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest of fruit in the Autumn.
